"I Think My Curves Are Something I Should Be Proud Of"

The title of this post was said by the fab Miss Katy Perry in her recent Maxim interview. I really enjoyed her cover and spread and interview. I have no clue why we get Maxim since this is a house full of women (excluding my 6 month old son) and we are all straight and narrow. I think my grandmother ordered it thinking it was a fashion magazine and I'd want it. Needless to say, in the next couple of months when my boyfriend and I are completely moved into our place there won't be any Maxims lying around lol.

At any rate, I like Katy Perry. She's awesome to say the least. Even though I'm not just now discovering or liking her or anything I guess I'm just now paying closer attention to her. So this post is dedicated to Katy Perry and her fashion sense. I think it's Like Lady Gaga, but prissy. It works for her! And I like it.

    I absolutely adore KP! She is gorgeous, edgy and herself. I know it's not totally fashionista status to say this: but Katy Perry is one of my fashion icons. She is too fun to not love.

    katy perry is gorgeous and honestly i don't think she's super curvy (no jennifer hudson mind you) rather very skinny!

    Katy Perry is alright. I don't particularly like her music, but I really like her style. It's really eclectic and funky, but still fashionable and girly. I like these pics of her. I definitely agree that curves are something to celebrate!

    I agree. Sometimes she is a bit OTT but she always makes it work and she is always being true to herself - you have to admire that. Would actually like to see her in concert so I can see all the costume changes!
