Lady Gaga to Start Clothing Line With Little Sister?

Celebrities of all sorts are known for starting lines. It was only a matter of time before we heard the news of the fashion freak herself starting one. Or so I hear.

According to Grazia, Lady Gaga will be teaming up with little sis Natali Germanotta (aka Baby Gaga), who is a fashion designer self. WWD reported last week that she is up for a gig designing costumes for an Off-Broadway production.

Grazia says the line will be “relatively normal and wearable.” And by Gaga standards that means “reworking styles of classic icons from the past” with a twist, it may include a Marilyn Monroe-inspired white dress done up in rubber!

If the rumors are true, get ready for a monstrosity of a clothing line...in a good way!

Stying via Polyvore

Hello my fashion family! Summer is knocking on my door and I've thrown it open, welcoming it warmly. I'm moving next month so I'm very excited about this summer! Tell me about what you guys have planned...At any rate, as some of you know, I'm an aspiring stylist. I get a lot of practice creating sets on Polyvore.com; if you haven't heard of it I really recommend it for styling purposes and also shopping! Here are some sets I made. A lot of them were made for my mother who needed some changes to her wardrobe. Enjoy, get inspired, critique me, give suggestions, I'm open it all!

 'Get The London Look'
Inspired my new found London obsession.

'The last of the Spring Nights'

'Way to Be Fierce'

'Reflections of a Happy Home'
My new apartment will have a modern feel with a few small, but key antique pieces and will be built around the theme of reflections which means mirrors, mirrors, mirrors! Really love the abstract pieces

Nylon is Magic

Hello my fab fashionistas and fashionistos! It's been quite a while hasn't it? Well, school is almost out and I'll have a little more time to blog. Honestly lately I haven't been inspired to blog (or do homework). However, I'm back and I'm back and I hope you guys bear with me.

This post is on a magazine I have recently discovered. It's not a new magazine but it's new to me. It's called Nylon, I'm sure you guys have heard of it. I bought my first issue last week and I completely fell in love. I subscribed immediately.

I'd heard of Nylon, of course, but since I live in an urban community, they don't sell them here. So when I get out of the hood, I usually buy my ELLE magazines and what not. I saw Nylon, picked up and was completely captured. This is one great publication! The fashion is laid back and chic, the editorials are great, and so are the rest of the features. I tweeted about them and their twitter page retweeted me. I gained a lot of fashion-forward followers as a result. At any rate, Nylon has a new fan and her name is Ayanna. Check it out if you haven't. The May Emma Roberts and Rory Culkin issue is great! Do you like Nylon? What's your favorite issue? Tell me about it!

I've recently become a J.Cole fan as well. If you haven't heard any of his music I advise you to take a listen.

Ima 90s Baby!

Okay so earlier today I was watching Footloose. Great movie, right? It made me think about how much I love 80s fashion and how I really believe I was meant to be born in the 80s. And THEN I got to thinking...how different was fashion in the 90s from fashion in the 80s? 80s fashion was crazy, wild, risk-taking. The 90s was a lot like that, too. I was born in 1992 and coming up I remember wanting to dress like Aaliyah and The Spice Girls. And in the early 2000s fashion did change. From the baggy clothes to the tight, shiny stuff. But this post is dedicated to the good, the bad and the ugly in 90s fashion!
