Ima 90s Baby!

Okay so earlier today I was watching Footloose. Great movie, right? It made me think about how much I love 80s fashion and how I really believe I was meant to be born in the 80s. And THEN I got to thinking...how different was fashion in the 90s from fashion in the 80s? 80s fashion was crazy, wild, risk-taking. The 90s was a lot like that, too. I was born in 1992 and coming up I remember wanting to dress like Aaliyah and The Spice Girls. And in the early 2000s fashion did change. From the baggy clothes to the tight, shiny stuff. But this post is dedicated to the good, the bad and the ugly in 90s fashion!
Clair Danes and co-star in the 90s show My So-Called Life
(I actually discovered this show around 05/06. They played re-runs
on The N. (This was when I loved Degrassi).

Aaliyah in all white, baggy clothes.

The Fresh Prince! You had to know he would be apart of this post.
Fresh Prince (Will Smith) and DJ Jazzy Jeff were some of the freshest.

  2. I was born in the late 80's, so that makes me part 90's, as well. :D I can't imagine how fashion has changed this much. I mean, looking at those photos, I can't believe I used to wear some of those. LOL Note that halter shirts were the "in" thing that time.

  5. Too funny! I loved reliving all of this. I was obsessed with the movie Clueless so that is where I based my fashion desires in the 90's! :)

  12. Ah, these were all my favorite things in the nineties. I was born in the mid/late eighties, but was definitely the result of the nineties. :)
