Thanksgiving and....

Hello you lovely people! It's Thanksgiving night here in Michigan. I was gonna wait until tomorrow to blog but something told me to just do it tonight. I'm not busy. This post is just a short one filled with a few personal photos. Some are from yesterday and some are from today. I didn't bring my camera with me to my aunt's house, where we ate. I didn't regret it until I went to my other aunt's house for a short moment and saw this amazing sequin pillow that I knew you guys would probably LOVE. *sigh*. So, I'll just have to hope that I can get a snap shot on Christmas when I go back! At any rate, my holiday was fine as I have many things to be thankful for. I hope you guys had an awesome time with your loved ones and ate GOOD. Enough of my rambling, here are the photos from yesterday.

I'm wearing my trusty black leather jacket from Newport News that my mom gave to me awhile back, a sweater by David Paul New York, also gifted to me by my lovely mother, and a plain black long-sleeved Tee. (I love how my sweater looks with leather. Doesn't it give it a little bit of life, or is it just me?) My scarf was a gift from W magazine for subscribing lol I like it! And it's actually really warm. Two-finger bird ring from Charlotte Russe, three gold rings gifted. Nightmoth lip-liner and Ruby Woo by MAC on my lips, by the way. (Also thought I'd note that I love the way my eye-liner came out yesterday and it's thanks to one of my favorite YouTuber's, Shirley Beniang. You guys should really check out her channel, she's great!)

Okay, on to my Thanksgiving outfit.
It's a gown from Urban Outfitters which I haven't gotten a chance to wear until today. It's so pretty and it fits me like a glove! I wore it with my Steve Madden moccasins to keep it understated.

A closer look at my make up. I did a dramatic eye with Maybelline eye studio in 'Flash of Forest' cream shadows and L'oreal Matte Shadow Duo in 'Dashing' and an understated lip with MAC lip glass in 'Spirited'.

Disclaimer
Guys, just because you have a nice camera, doesn't mean your photos will always turn out great. I really wish I had someone experienced to take my photos. Usually, it's family members and such who really don't know what to do. It's not their fault. Lol. I hope you all enjoy the photos anyway. (I actually took the photos from yesterday myself and had the camera on a timer. Did they come out okay? Let me know if you prefer those and I'll do that from now on).

At any rate, I hope you all are having great holidays and I hope to hear from you all soon!
