A Late Night Hello

Hello, all. I am awake at 12:10 a.m. here in Detroit. I decided to blog a bit since I'm up. Right now, I'm losing myself in vintage photography and researching activist, model and fashion icon, Bianca Jagger, Mick Jagger (and all his...conquests, as well as what they led to), and The Rolling Stones. I'm searching high and low for some really good and informative book on Bianca specifically, but I haven't found anything. I suppose I'll have to just dig up what I can through interviews (the journalism major in me is creeping out). I'm also looking for some books with great photography from that era (The 60s and the 70s). If you guys know of any or where I can find something, please let me know!

What am I listening to?

Actually, I'm playing all of The Weeknd's music. I am obsessed. I hope all of you go to his site and download the mixtapes House of Balloons and Thursday. Here's the link: The Weekend.

These vintage photographs are so intriguing to me. Mick and Bianca were the epitome of glamorous and fly and just...on FIRE when it came to their image. Looking at photos of The Rolling Stones, Andy Warhol, and everyone that partied at Studio 54  are like stepping into a time machine. It's amazing. I really hope that I find some books with photography like this in them. Again, if you can recommend anything to me, I'd appreciate it!

Love, Ayanna
