Marc Jacobs for Dior?

Hi dolls. This post is coming to you all kind of early, but for good reason. Women's Wear Daily has reported that Marc Jacobs might seriously be up for Galliano's old position at Dior.

"According to sources", WWD says, LVMH head Bernard Arnault has been in talks with Jacobs. Meetings between Dior representatives from LVMH, the luxury conglomerate that owns the Christian Dior label as well as Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs and many other top brands, and Jacobs' legal representatives are set to take place this week in Paris.

If Marc Jacobs does take the job at Dior, he would in fact have to relinquish his title at Louis Vuitton, meaning Phoebe Phil, potentially filling his spot. Phil is currently creative director at Celine, who is also owned by LVMH.

Neither Dior nor Mar Jacobs has confirmed the rumors, but for WWD to post this, it does give it a bit of credibility, don't you think? They definitely know EVERYTHING that we DON'T know. What do you guys think? Do you think that Marc would be a good fit for Dior?

Love, Ayanna
